Very responsive and effecient! However asked for full report itemized with pictures before and after for reimbursement and did not get them in a report with filter type as asked. The technicians did not cover beds or furniture so a lot of post cleaning. Nice people hope they get more organized!!

We had lived in our house a number of years and had never bothered to use the fireplace until this year. A gas burner had been placed in the pit with an apparent gas line running from it to the keyed release valve a few feet away in an adjacent wall. The fireplace itself had originally been for wood, so it was a conversion - or so we thought.

After so many years, we thought it a good idea to have the burner and fireplace inspected and contacted CFC Clean Fix Chimneys to do the inspection. Their technician, Michael, came out and found, during the course of the inspection, that there was no gas being supplied to the burner! The previous owner had neglected to run a supply line to the burner's gas intake line!

It was more economical to have the burner and feeder pipe removed and the pipe capped off than continue the conversion to gas. It was a good choice as it turned out that the various gas pipe connections to the burner had not been mated and sealed properly, as Michael pointed out.

CFC did a great job correcting the problems created by the previous owner's incorrect and dangerous "gas conversion", thoroughly inspecting, cleaning our chimney, fireproofing and sealing the fireplace to code.

Michael is a very personable technician and does a very thorough and professional job. I can recommend him and CFC Clean Fix Chimney for any fireplace and chimney issues that you may have.

I’m rating CFC five stars. Due to the winter approaching for a Senior Citizen house. CFC got my fireplace looking brand new. Clean, fresh paint and took out my old gas line that hasn’t been used since the 90’s. Also sealed with a gas cap for safety.

Great and honest company. Nate came out to my house and inspected. He found out that there was no issue (issue was reported by a previous contractor) and said to continue to monitor the situation. He didn't try to sell me on any unnecessary fixes and offered to come back out and fix anything that comes up later free of service charge. Will use again in the future.
